His spy spoof Mossad (2019) became Israel’s top film of the year, premiering at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, screening in Germany, and later acquired by HBO, with comedic legend David Zucker contributing to the project. Gur Arye gained fame with his award-winning comedy Israeli Intelligence (2007), which earned Best Director and Special Effects (Houston), Audience Choice (Toronto), Best Comedy (Atlanta), and Best Action (Los Angeles). He also served as chief writer and content developer for Israel’s Channel 10 (2008-2009) and contributed to popular shows, including Ad Kan (YES), Sesame Street (Israel), and created the sitcom Amila (HOT Cable). As a writer and editor, he was key to the Israeli Kids Channel (2009-2011) and LOGI Channel (2011-2012). His other works include Operation Egg (2017) and his groundbreaking comedic documentary We’ll Never Say Goodbye (2022), Israel’s most-watched documentary of that month, blending biography with scripted scenes and syndicated across cable and satellite.
