Her desire for a child is intertwined with the difficulties of a young mother until they reach an illusionary solution– the impossible gift of a baby.

Sophie Artus, a director and scriptwriter, graduated with a MFA in Cinema at The Steve Tisch School of Film-TAU. Her award-winning debut "VALLEY" explored teenage life in peripheral Israel. Her second film, "HALISA," received five Ophir Award nominations, including Best Feature Film. As a female filmmaker, Artus strives to illuminate social challenges through her works.
