Henya is an Israeli screenwriter, director, and documentary cinematographer. She is a pioneering filmmaker from the ultra-Orthodox community in Israel, bringing an authentic voice from this closed community to the screen. Her first short film, Our Son (2022), was screened at the Cinequest Film Festival and won the Best Short Film award at the Jerusalem Jewish Film Festival. It has also participated in other festivals around the world.
